This page explains what information this site collects and how it's used. We've kept it short because, at launch, the site does very little with your data.

KnowYourPrime is operated from Canada and read mostly by people in the United States. We aim to handle information in line with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and to be straightforward with all readers regardless of where you live.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. This data is collected in a way that does not identify you personally. We use it to decide what to write next and to fix what isn't working.

We do not ask for your name, and at launch we do not collect email addresses.

What we do not do (at launch)

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings if you prefer. The site will still work without them.

Third parties

Our analytics provider (Google) processes usage data on our behalf and under its own privacy terms. Aside from standard web hosting and analytics, we do not pass your information to anyone.

Your choices

You can browse without giving us any personal information. You can block analytics cookies in your browser. Because we don't collect personal data that identifies you at launch, there is little for us to hold, correct, or delete, but if you have a question about privacy, write to us at [email protected].

Changes

If the site starts collecting more, for example if we add email signup, this page will be updated before that happens, with the date of the change noted.
